Supporting economic excellence - Part 1
MartinJenkins has sponsored one of four new awards for excellence to be announced at the Local Government New Zealand (LGNZ) annual conference in Nelson on 21 July 2014.
We are delighted to be able to highlight council innovation to support economic wellbeing in local communities. The three finalists, as noted by the award judges, illustrate the high volume and high quality of entries in the inaugural awards, and the impact that even smaller local authorities with limited resources can have on their community’s economic success.
The finalists in the MartinJenkins EXCELLENCE Award for local economic contribution are:
- Hauraki District Council: Hauraki Rail Trail
- Selwyn District Council: Electronic Building Consent Process
- Wanganui District Council: 100% Connected
The winner of this award will have led an external or internal project or programme that has enhanced the economic wellbeing or the value proposition to ratepayers to parts or all of their city, town, district or region.
Find out how MartinJenkins can help lift performance in your region.
